William Crick was born in 1796 and died in 1853
On the 1841 William Crick is living with his wife Elizabeth at Houghton Park Gardens with his children William, Isaac, Matilda, John, Martha, George, Eliza & Samuel.
By 1851 Isaac had left, Francis is back home as a widow (age 31), and only Eliza and Samuel remain at the House. He also has 2 nieces living there.
He died in 1853, and his wife must have continued with the business until her death.
In 1861 Elizabeth is living in the house with 3 grandchildren and 4 servants (a niece)

In the early 1800s there is a William Crick paying land tax, and also receiving rent, bit none of the records state where the land is, other than Ampthill, and in a couple of cases Maulden, at this stage I my guess is that it is his uncle.
1850s a William Crick is on the electoral register owning a property in Dunstable street
